GOD BLESS CHENNAI, Walk, 4:00pm 24th April,20011.Easter Sunday

More than 40 belivers of our church took part in the "God bless Chennai" prayer walk.The walk took place from the Clive batteries to the Beach railywy station.Wome,men and children very happily participated.The Rev.E.W.Christopher of the CSI,Christ church, washermenpet inaugrated our prayer walk with prayer as their church's walk ended at Clive batteries.We reached the beach railyway staion by 4:50pm andit came to an end after the prayer by the presbyter of our church Rev.N.Manova Santhosham. The secretarey of the pastorate committee of our church Mr.J.Johnson Jayakumar offered milk and ice cream to all the participants.

Easter 24th April 2011, after service

The Holy Eucharist was celebrated at 4:30 am Easter service.The Presbyter conducted the service and preached the word of God based on the Scripture portion taken from Gospel according to St.John 20:1-18.He highlighted 3 important points in his sermon.
1.God grants refuge to the Rejected(Mary Magdalene was consled by the RISEN CHRIST)
2.God grants Peace to the Fearful(The disciples under fear were granted Peace)
3.God grants Holy spirit to Forgive(Disciples were granted Holy Spirit to only forgive sins)
The church was full and everyone enjoyed the service and felt the presence of God throughout the service.

First time Pascal Candle was lit making the belivers to understand the importance of it in the early and medivel period of the church history.

Poor Feeding and Decoration of church, 23rdApril 2011

Poor feeding was there around 1:30pm where more than 150 people benefitted.The women fellowship of the church took initiatives to collect donayions of cash and kind and prepared food with the help of the members.Members of the women fellowship and other belivers of the church gathered to wash the floor of the church and cleaned all the doors and windows before they start arranging Jasmine flowers in order to decorate the church for the Raster Sunday (24.04.2011).Children,men & young and old memebrs of the congregation enthuciasticaly took part in all these activities.
